27th September - New addition to the staff team

We are really pleased today to welcome Daniel Burns to the Liquid Connection staff team. Daniel, 19 from North Leatherhead, has been involved with the work we do for several years, and has previously been volunteering as a youth worker at a number of our projects.

Daniel has joined us through the Future Jobs Fund program, which aims to support the development of local young people by providing jobs at community organisations. The scheme pays for his employment for 6 months.

We were very pleased when we heard that Dan would be eligible to begin working with Liquid Connection, and he has fantastic experience in drama and sport, which we feel will really benefit local young people.

Dan will support us on a number of the projects we deliver locally, as well as gaining a VRQ2 in Youth Work, and an FA Football Coaching Level 1 qualification while he is with us.
