This past weekend BLISS (Liquid Connection's girl's project) went on our annual weekend away. 15 of us set off to an activity centre in East Sussex, it was a fully packed weekend, with the girls facing the challenge course, giant swing, archery, raft building and so much more.

The weekend provided an environment where we each encouraged one another to face fears and to try new activities. It also provided a great space for the girls to get to know one another and spend time relationally with our youth workers and volunteers.

Many of the young people on this trip have not been away this summer due to finances and giving the girls some time away from their home town seemed to be a rejuvenating experience as well as a memorable one.
