Mentoring and support for NEET young people in Mole Valley

A huge part of the work that we do is simply positioning ourselves relationally in the community to support local young people. This is carried out professionally in a number of ways:

Operating informal mentoring schemes which support local teenagers who may be facing difficult circumstances, are vulnerable, or perhaps require preventative input.

Carrying out detached youth work to reach young people who are disaffected from local service provision.


We are currently working with a number of NEET (Not in Education, Employment or Training) young people to support them back into work, education or training. We ran a mentoring course for NEET young people in Autumn 2010 and are pleased to say that 100% of the attendees are now in work or education. We continue to support NEET young people on an ongoing basis.
